   Finish Description    Medium Brown Finish. Finishing process utilizes up to 30 steps, including 13 steps of hand-sanding and accenting. All items receive two coats of high solid lacquer for extra depth and long-lasting durability. Case interiors are finished to eliminate unsightly “raw” wood.

Construction & Materials
   Case Detail    In some cases, a molded resin is used to simulate wood carvings. On most designs, end panels extend to the floor for added strength and stability. Many cases feature sturdy levelers to permit adjustment on uneven floors.  Plastic tack glide or plastic tack strip under all cases prevent floor scratches.  
   Drawer Suspension    Certain drawers feature durable wood-on-wood drawer guides. Male guides are waxed for consistent smooth operation. Guides connect to dust frame rails with interlocking notches for precise fit. Screws attach the guide to the front dust frame for strength.
   Drawer & Shelf Construction    Drawers feature English dovetail construction at front and back for exceptional strength, plywood drawer bottoms attached to plywood drawer sides with hot glue for strength, and a urethane or high-solids lacquer finish for smoothness and durability.
   Top Description    Most tops are five-ply tops, which are lumber banded for added edge protection and for stable panel construction.
   Case Construction    Case frames are assembled from solid hardwoods and Cherry veneers, with strong mortise & tenon joints, reinforced by mechanical fasteners & glue.  Raised panel doors have strong panel and frame construction to help prevent warping.
